I Just Realized Something

Breastfeeding symbolImage via Wikipedia

I was at the store just now and I realized something. Due to our choices in feeding (my wife breast feeds) and diapers that I have never had to run out in the middle of the night and buy diapers or formula. Kinda made me feel good. Especially when I saw how much the gentleman in front of me was paying for one can of formula. That stuff is expensive.

I could go off on some diatribe about supporting breastfeeding, but I won't. I will just say this, it's a perfectly natural thing. It does not and will not offend me. It is hard to believe that it offends some people. It's a breast!

  1. I think that in support of August being National Breastfeeding Month, this is a great post. Breastmilk is so healthy for babies and economical.
I completely understand that for many people, formula is the best or only route to go. I don't think that what you feed your baby is a reflection of how much you love them and you have to do what works best for mom and baby (and daddy too!)
That being said, I am so glad that I have been able to breastfeed my daughter for seven months and I hope to continue past her first birthday.
    Thanks for a great post!!
